St. Michael’s Hospice Charity, Charity Shops in Paphos Cyprus Supporting Archangel Michael Hospice

Welcome To St. Michael's Hospice Charity

2022 Annual General Meeting

Dear Member,

You are cordially invited to attend the 2022 AGM of St Michael’s Hospice Charity on 13th July 2022. It will be held at the Attikon Meeting Room, Evagora Pallikardi (just off Kennedy square) Paphos.

Ample parking is available in the Kennedy Square car park and the charge is just 1 Euro for 4hrs. The Attikon main entrance is opposite the bus stop and to the right of 2nd Cup Coffee Company (towards the EKO garage) as you look at it from the car park. There is a crossing from the car park across the road to the 2nd Cup. We will provide you with a bottle of water on entry or refreshments will be available.

We donated 132,000 Euros to the Archangel Michael Hospice last year, a 17% increase. We are so proud of our volunteers who have gathered in this amount, mainly through our shops, under Covid conditions. Thanks also to all our customers who have donated stock during the year.

We regret to say that our Town shop closed its doors for the last time on 21 May 2022. The Roadworks has made it no longer viable as customers have found it difficult to reach. We want to thank all our volunteers who have worked in this shop and would like any of them to join the volunteers in one of our other shops.

All our other 5 shops remain open and welcome any customers

Recent changes to the regulations means customers no longer need to show a safe pass on entering  our Geroskipou Superstore, but are still required to wear a mask.

Our two biggest shops (Geroskipou Superstore and Agapinoros shop ) are now accepting card payments as well as cash. We hope this is more convenient for our customers.

All our shops need good quality clothing, household goods and furniture. Have you had a clear out recently? Do please think of us if you are moving house or leaving the Island. We can collect larger items.

a) We are looking for shop Managers who can take responsibility for running one of  shops around Paphos. Why not give it a try in this rewarding role? Send us a message using our contact page.

b) We are seeking shifters who can help us (one afternoon a week) to collect or deliver furniture that has been donated or purchased to our Superstore. We use our own van for this purpose. Please contact David on 96699777 if you can help.

Do look out on Facebook for the following events coming your way:

1. Golf Day at Elea Golf course - 15 June

2. Fashion show and afternoon  tea in the Gardens of the Hospice - 5 July - POSTPHONED

Our Volunteers are always willing to assist you and our shops offer great products at reasonable prices.

Our Mission is, as always, to help fund Archangel Michael Hospice run its day to day operations.

We welcome any feedback from Members or Customers using our contact page.
